Lauren Landers, MSW
Lauren is the Care Coordination Policy Specialist for the State of Colorado Department of Healthcare Policy & Financing. As the state authority on Medicaid care coordination, she develops and implements policies aimed at improving the state's physical and behavioral health care coordination and case management service systems.
Lauren began her case management career at NACM Charter Organization SAM, Inc. before becoming a Case Management Supervisor under fellow board member Dave Wilkinson. Prior to moving to Colorado, she worked as an county administrator overseeing all behavioral health case management programs in Montgomery County, PA. She holds a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Fullerton.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys performing with her band and spending time with her Philadelphia-born dog, Kensington (Kenzo). She also enjoys traveling and has lived all across the country, including Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Central Illinois, New Orleans, and Denver.
